ServicesManor House Residential Home is fully-equipped to cater for individual needs, and offers a wide range of services to its service users.

  • Telephone
    The Home has a phone, which can be used by the residents for incoming calls in the privacy of their own rooms. Residents may have their own private line through BT.
  • Hairdresser
    A hairdresser attends the Home often to meet personal requirements
  • Gents Barber
    A barber attends regularly
  • Chiropodist
    A chiropodist calls regularly
  • Optician
    An optician provides regular sight tests and new spectacle service
  • Spiritual Needs
    A Church Service is held in one of the lounges regularly for those residents who wish to attend
  • Newspapers
    Newspapers are delivered to the Home as and when required by residents
  • Meal Choices
    A delicious choice of cooking is offered, catering for specialised diets
  • Social Activities
    Outings are regularly planned as requested by the residents
  • Visits
    Visiting is encouraged at any time; relatives should feel free to ask staff about any aspect of the care being delivered, and are welcome to participate in their relative's care
  • Outside Areas
    Gardens are to the front and side laid to lawn. The side garden is secure but accessible for all the residents. There is a barbeque area with seating. Raised flower and veg beds are accessible to wheelchair users and there is security lighting to all main areas

The Accommodation

The home is divided into two floors  comprising of:

  • 25 single rooms, 15, of which are En-Suite
  • 2 bathrooms with bath hoists & toilets
  • 1 shower room with toilet
  • 2 separate toilets

Your Bedroom

  • Your room will be single and you will have complete privacy when you require it. All rooms are well furnished and tastefully decorated.
  • If you wish to bring items of your own furniture then this is welcomed, however a few safety checks will need to be undertaken first.
  • Staff will respect your privacy and will not enter your room without knocking or asking your permission to be invited in.
  • A lockable area is provided in every room for your valuables and private affairs.
  • Alternatively you may hand any items to the manager and she will lock them away for safekeeping.
